Pastor Allen Vessells
Pastor Allen Vessells
Pastor Allen Vessells walks as a testament to God’s love and faithfulness. He is called to serve, impart, and infuse hope into the lives of people. He is the husband of Akira Vessells.
Allen is a fourth generational Pastor and was first introduced to Christ through his grandmother, Evangelist Elaine Luck (memory eternal). Pastor Allen accepted the call to ministry at the early age of 10, at Trinity Alpha and Omega Church, serving under the leadership of Pastor Oliver Johnson (memory eternal). He was licensed and continued strongly in the work of the Lord. Allen preached his first sermon during a youth service entitled “I Just Want What God Wants." Following the death of Pastor Johnson, Allen being led by God joined the Purpose Center under Bishop Perry and Pastor Sabrina Brown. During his time at the Purpose Center, Allen served as an armor bearer to Bishop Brown and the Youth Pastor to the Young People of Purpose for several years. Once again, being led by God, Pastor Allen served as the Executive Pastor and Chief Adjutant to Bishop Donnie Neal Sr. at the Life Impact Church. During his time of Serving Bishop Neal, Allen was trained for pastoral ministry and later ordained as an Elder in the Lord's Church in 2017. Summer of 2019, the Lord gave Pastor Allen a vision and strategy to begin planning for the birth of Hope House Church. In October of 2019, Pastor Allen began holding Bible studies for the Hope House in east Baltimore.
Pastor Allen serves the Hope House with passion, fire, and a desire to see people healed, whole, and spiritually and physically healthy. He stands firmly on the word of God in his teachings and sermons and believes that the word of God is for everyone.
Pastor Allen and Lady Kira are the proud Godparents of Xoë Horton and Journey Parker. Allen Graduated from Bowie State University with a Bachelor of Science in Education. He is a lifelong educator and has taught grades 3-8.
Pastor Allen lives on Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” He believes that no matter what has happened in our life, where we have been, God always has a plan for us!
